What Comes Your Way

One day, a large shouldered man sits weeping beside his pastor saying, "It's so unfair that my wife has to have cancer. She is the best of the best of all the women on this earth." Another day, a young woman cries as her pastor's eyes fill with tears too. She says, "Mama's dementia has eaten away her mind, so much so that she doesn't know me or any of her friends now." On another continent an Auntie holds the hands of her four dear ones, with tears in her eyes she tells pastor that she'll take them to her home until their father receives Jesus' miracle of recovery from the work accident.

Not one of these believers are wavering when the toughest day comes and they need to give it everything they have for as long as it takes. A tough day can happen. It is a day of challenge and you know by faith to drawn strength at Jesus feet. He is the right One to depend upon as others are leaning on you. This day is made Holy in Him. So are the days ahead.

Fastened the belt of truth around your waist-- it is an upsetting situation and sadly unfair. This is the truth. Ask Jesus' help and receive an outpouring of His compassion. Holy Spirit's not done blessing you yet. Now, someone has said, "When answers aren't enough, there is Jesus." Jesus is all we need. He knows about the unfairness of life first-hand and He died on the Cross, shedding His blood to save us right in the midst of unfairness.

Jesus Christ is the righteousness of God, perfect in every way. When you received salvation Jesus made you righteous like Him and He passed over sins you previously committed. You are made clean by His blood. On the day, you can withstand, having done everything that Holy Spirit shows you to do. Stand in Jesus. Holiness is with you.

Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand therefore and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. Ephesians 6:13-14
