On September 11, 2001, the tragic collapse of the twin towers in New York City, the attack on the western face of the Pentagon, and the foiled attack which caused the plane to crash in a field in Pennsylvania resulted in the loss of 2977 lives. That day cast a deep shadow of sorrow over our hearts.
By the Grace of God we've found healing comfort through hope in Christ for our Nation's recovery. Holy Spirit has guided us to learn that hurting and wounded hearts are comforted. The cornerstone of our faith is Jesus Christ who knows our sufferings because He had suffered to the extreme before his death and Resurrection.
We continue to unite in compassionate care for those whose loved ones died on 911. If you are reading this and had a loved one or friends who died that day please know we do not forget to continue to lift you in prayer. And as Holy Spirit enables us to recover from sorrows and gives us the gift of clear thinking bestowed upon us by Christ, we do not forget that day. Because Christ lives we can face tomorrow.
