That expression 'Two steps forward, one step backward!' applies to believers, right? When life's circumstances cause us to digress instead of progress, and puts us on another path than the one that we had first thought that we are intended to be on, is this God's will for us or just life's circumstances? Or are they one in the same?
Sometimes there are mysteries in life that can confound us but there's one thing that we know for certain-- when we step out on our faith we come with the assurance that Jesus is directing our lives. Your life is in Christ's care.
Have hope that you'll move forward and not sink, not fail, not flounder. There is Hope for now in your Lord. Take Jesus' Presence near to you by telling Him you love Him. He extends His hand to you. Take and hold on. That is where your focus of hope resides.
Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His Presence continually! 1 Chronicles 16:11
