In an religious elementary school, the children were lined up in the cafeteria for school lunch. On the first table was a large pile of delicious red apples. They watched as a teacher came and put a printed sign in front of the apples which said, 'Take only one. God is watching.' They had the lunch prayer and began to fill their plates. When some of the girls in the middle of the line got to the cookies at the last serving table they read a hastily hand-written sign which said, 'Take as many as you want. God is watching the apples.'
Many had a laugh at that! As God watches you read this right now know that God enjoys your smile, your laugh, and enjoys you're sharing humorous stories with others. Lighten someone's day! Jesus had a lot of laughter and good-times with His believers. He still does. If there is anyone who loves to laugh it is Jesus. And teaching our children to enjoy laughter helps them to know the joy of the Lord.
...this day is Holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
