Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us In Christ with every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly places, just as He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before Him in love. Ephesians 1:3-4
God our Heavenly Father has blessed us In Christ! For this we give thanksgiving for our life, breath, and being. So when we hear the sad news that Queen Elizabeth II has died, we give thanks for her long life in service to our Lord and that she is in Heaven! Our prayers lift her family as they mourn their Mother, Grandmother, and Great-GrandMother. And our prayers lift up Great Britain in transition.
In Christ we pray as study focus on Apostle Paul's phrase, 'In Christ,' shines out to us in our Scripture today. Paul directs us to have Kingdom thoughts and reassurance. Eternal life is Kingdom truth-- life In Christ's love. Christ relieves the harsh sting of our loved one's death. His Resurrection gives us firm assurance that the thin veil between here and Heaven is bridged by our life In Christ.
Christ lives in you, lives within believers In Christ. In Christ we each know a life-long heartfelt love story with Jesus. This is life's beautiful Way. Queen Elizabeth II lives in truth; God is blessing her and He continues to bless us. Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
