Today let our thoughts of Jesus going to the Cross hold us steady:
Jesus said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered, "The Messiah of God." He sternly ordered and commanded them not to tell anyone, saying, The Son of Man must undergo great suffering, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be Raised." Luke 9:20-22
He must undergo great suffering for us and yet He advises the disciples not to tell other who He is right now, to keep them safe from angry unbelievers. He cares with help, healing, and words to live by. He is teaching us Holy obedience to God through HIs caring.
His Holiness is energetically alive within His intention to die on the Cross for you and for us. Just as the disciples did when they first heard Him speak these words, we place all of our trust in Jesus. We may have questions. Ask and He answers.
He assures us of His genuine care. He holds us steady as He moves forward toward the Cross. He wants to heal, help, and instruct you in Holy living. The Cross is Jesus' stepping stone into Heaven, making a Way for you. We cherish our Savior; love Him. His Cross is sacred
