The most magnificent words that Jesus ever says are,
"Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father."
Life changing words because they're looking at God's face! And for those who have been raised with stories of Moses' (Exodus 33:12-20) and his glorious encounter with God-- and when God says, "You "shall see my back; but my face shall not be seen." (v. 23) Now we see Jesus as we see what God is like.
What is God like? God knows what it's like to be tempted-- to resist temptation takes one' self to the front of the firing lines to receive victory. And in Jesus we see God loving us-- pressing on to love us unwavering and bearing wounds of love within His heart. And God knows what it is like to be unjustly crucified--- perfect Jesus chooses the Cross' distasteful death to bring us salvation's New Life.
Life energized! Jesus' words are God's Words to transform us; Christ-like. God's message and His heart are in Jesus. God's own truth comes out of Jesus' mouth. Doesn't that create tremendous desire within you to read these words, study, and live with His words alive within your heart?
Send us an email and we'll study His words in Luke's Gospel together. We call it our 2x2 Bible Study because you'll read 2 chapters of Luke each night for 4 nights, then we'll meet online on the 5th night. 3 meetings for this Bible Study.

If you know Me, you will know My Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know Me? Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in Me does His works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, but if you do not, then believe because of the works themselves.
John 14:7-11
