Jesus' heart is the Light by which we see answers. Jesus boldly guides us! We listen to Holy Spirit speaking and hear Jesus. Jesus says, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Those who walk during the day do not stumble, because they see the light of this world. But those who walk at night stumble, because the Light is not in them.” (John 11:9-11) Jesus' heart' Light guides us.
Jesus' heart shines Light at Bethany, in Judea where disciples are told Lazarus has died. Here Jesus weeps. Then Jesus speaks to God and prays for Lazarus to Rise from the dead and come out of his tomb. Scripture says: So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank You for having heard me. I knew that you always hear Me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that You sent me.” John 11:41-42
Dead four days, Lazarus comes out of his tomb alive. Jesus' heart Light shines at Lazarus' grave as Jesus' prayer calls to Lazarus to come out. Then Jesus thanks God. Jesus teaches us to thank God for His answers to our prayers.
Jesus' prayer of thanks teaches us and blesses us to be like Him: 1-Thank God for having heard your prayer. 2-Affirm God always hears you. 3-Speak your thanks out-loud so others may believe in Jesus.
Look at Jesus' heart filled with gratitude and love for Heavenly Father. Jesus' prayer of thanks reflects His gratitude and so does ours. "Gracious Heavenly Father You hear me, You always hear me, Thank You Heavenly Father," is in our hearts and spoken words, Heavenly Father always answers our prayers. Sovereign Heavenly Father determines prayer outcomes.
Praise be to Heavenly Father for giving us Jesus Christ the Light of our lives.
