God has set you free to love. Jesus says, "I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another." (John 13:34) To truly care for someone means to love them so deeply that you willingly and joyfully minister to their needs.
When I care about you, your needs become my priority—this is love in action. And when you share your heart with me, I don’t dismiss your feelings or say, "That’s ridiculous." Instead, I respond with compassion, doing what is necessary to support and uplift you, just as Christ does for us.
Because God has released us to love as Jesus loves, we obey His commandment with joy. We are honored to share His love with both adults and children. And the best part? We don’t have to earn the right to serve Him—the Holy Spirit equips us the moment we say yes.
Remember, when Jesus gave this new commandment, it was not an ordinary day. That same night, He humbled Himself by washing His disciples' feet. He revealed that Judas would betray Him. He foretold Peter’s denial. And yet, in the midst of it all, He still called us to love one another.
