I believe that the Holy Spirit caused me to notice something important about our faith. It happened one day when I picked up my grandson to bring him over to my home. When my grandson climbed into the backseat of my car and buckled his seatbelt it was then that I saw contentment. He fully relaxed his entire body; content. Then I watched him as I saw anticipation of our Lord's good day in his eyes

It's a moment I have not forgotten since. When we are content we know comfort, our outlook is unworried, and we are noticed. We are not carrying a heavy burden on our hearts-- a worry, some anger, or a tension. How do we not carry these? When we are yoked with Jesus our anticipation of the Lord's good day ahead of us causes us to relax and be purposeful.

Jesus says, “Come to Me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) When we yoke or join our faith with trust and learning in Jesus we are lightened, eased, and lifted to be content.
